Features: This book is one of the supplementary materials for the "Experimental Coursebooks for English (New Target)" published by People's Education Press. This series of textbooks was adapted through a collaboration between People's Education Press and Thomson Learning Publishing Group, based on the newly published "Goforit!" by Thomson Learning Publishing Group (USA). It adopts the Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT) model, integrating topics, communicative functions, and language structures to form a progressive and life-oriented learning program. During the revision process, the editors made appropriate adjustments to the structure and content of the original book in accordance with the "English Curriculum Standards" (Experimental Draft) issued by the Ministry of Education. They added review units, cultural background knowledge, learning strategies, and increased the task-based learning components and comprehensive textual input. This book is designed to complement the workbook for this series of textbooks, focusing on comprehensive ability testing. Each unit includes the vocabulary, grammar, and relevant functions learned by students in that unit. The exercises are flexible and diverse. It is worth mentioning that, in addition to exercises requiring students to provide correct answers, this book also includes open-ended exercises without fixed answers. These exercises guide students to answer based on their own experiences and actual situations, helping to develop their ability to use language in real-world contexts. The book consists of 12 units, with each unit offering A and B sets of tests, as well as a final comprehensive test, intended for use in the second semester of the seventh grade.
