Features: In English learning, reading and writing are two very important components. Especially in recent years, the proportion of reading and writing has been increasing in various English-related exams. In response to this situation, we have developed this series of books, "English Reading and Writing Integrated Training," based on the national new curriculum standards. This series consists of six volumes: Grade 7, Grade 8, Grade 9, Grade 10, Grade 11, and Grade 12. Each volume is designed according to the knowledge points and reading difficulty of different grades, providing corresponding reading passages and writing exercises. It organically combines reading comprehension with written expression, reflecting the close relationship and interconnection between reading and writing in English learning.
This series is based on reading and aims to improve writing skills. It selectively chooses reading materials and sets questions such as multiple-choice, fill-in-the-blanks, and sentence-making based on relevant knowledge points in the reading materials. On this foundation, it designs questions around word usage, sentence patterns, and idiomatic expressions, using them as a bridge to establish the "Writing Extension" section, ultimately achieving the goal of enhancing readers' writing abilities.
Additionally, in the writing exercises, specific requirements are provided, such as expanding or summarizing reading materials, using certain words, sentence patterns, and idiomatic expressions, or practicing corresponding essay writing based on the genre of the reading material. In this process, readers need to apply the knowledge points from reading to writing exercises and compare them to identify gaps. This helps readers accumulate experience while improving both reading and writing skills.
