Features: In English learning, reading and writing are two crucial components. Particularly in recent years, the proportion of reading and writing has been increasing in various English-related exams. In response to this situation, we have developed the series "English Reading and Writing Integrated Training" based on the national new curriculum standards. This series consists of six volumes: Grade 7, Grade 8, Grade 9, Grade 10, Grade 11, and Grade 12. Each volume is tailored to the knowledge points and reading difficulty of different grades, featuring corresponding reading passages and writing exercises that organically integrate reading comprehension with written expression, reflecting the close relationship and interconnection between reading and writing in English learning.
This series is designed with reading as the foundation and improving writing skills as the goal. It selectively chooses reading materials and sets questions such as multiple-choice, fill-in-the-blanks, and sentence-making based on relevant knowledge points from the reading passages. This micro-level practice enhances vocabulary usage and tests grammar mastery. Building on this, the series incorporates questions on word usage, sentence structures, and idiomatic expressions, serving as a bridge to establish the "Writing Extension" section. Ultimately, this aims to improve the readers' writing abilities.
Additionally, the writing exercises provide specific requirements, such as expanding or summarizing reading passages, using certain words, phrases, or sentence structures, and practicing relevant writing styles based on the themes of the passages. Throughout this process, readers are encouraged to apply the knowledge gained from reading to their writing exercises and compare their work with the reading material to identify gaps. This approach helps readers accumulate experience while enhancing both their reading and writing skills.
