Features: I think, in the heart of every person, there is hidden a black house. This is not Freudian psychoanalysis, but rather a common experience shared by all of us from ancient times to the present. In fact, the process that childhood and Yu'er go through after moving into the black house is the process of discovering evil deep within a person's heart. In this story, a sentence is repeated: "If I split the wood, I will reveal myself; if you move the stone, you will find me." In fact, the "you" in this sentence is each one of us, and the "me" is the deep-seated "evil" hidden in our hearts. As long as every one of us can "split the wood" and "move the stone," we can discover the existence of "evil." This is the symbolic meaning I have given to the book Cat's Eye.
