Features: Generally, in-depth research on choral art is conducted through the following three approaches:
1. Studying the development, evolution, and history of choral art. Learning and inheriting the fine traditions from the works and the development, transformation, and creative techniques of vocal techniques of predecessors, and further promoting and developing them.
2. Researching the content of choral works, their creative intentions, composition, historical context, and artistic recreation (or translated as recreation, re-creation, or interpretation) during artistic performance; studying how to reveal the content of the works, how to shape the musical images in the works, how to explore the characteristics and styles of the works, and how to express the emotions and psychological states when performing choral works. This also includes representative techniques that express these intentions, such as borrowing keyboard instruments to imitate the artistic recreation of choral works or how conductors use more effective gestures, movements, and postures during artistic recreation to better convey the content of the works.
3. Researching the various conditions, combinations, and specific arrangements required for the artistic recreation of choral works. And studying the means and approaches to achieve the desired auditory requirements during the artistic recreation of choral works.
Although the above three are the three main aspects of researching choral art, they are closely interconnected. It is not possible to isolate and mechanize the requirements of each item.
