Features: To meet the needs of society and teaching, we have compiled this book, "A Guide to the Catalogue of Chinese Historical Documents." The content of the book is divided into four parts: The General Introduction section elaborates on the theories related to historical documents and the study of their catalogues; The Old Style and New Style sections introduce historical documents of various types from ancient to modern times, analyzing typical examples to enhance intuitive understanding; The Retrieval section belongs to methodology. During the compilation process, we not only referred to the works of scholars from ancient and modern times but also incorporated some achievements from our previous teaching and research.
