Features: Introduction to the 2003 CCTV social issue drama. The compelling story told in this book laid the foundation for the creation of the television series. A century-old model project turned into a "shoddy project." In the struggle between investigating the truth and covering it up, from high-ranking officials to ordinary citizens, from corrupt officials and the underworld to petty villains, from sensational cases to unhealthy practices, the work provides a panoramic analysis. "The Soul of the Nation" attempts to adopt a mindset of warning in a prosperous era, delivering sharp and merciless criticism and lashing out at moral corruption, official corruption, power corruption, and people's corruption. It calls on all citizens to stop indulging the power and desires of a few, and urges the public to maintain integrity and conscience.
