The content includes six methods: general introduction, genres, rhyme, tones, parallelism, and sentence structure, as well as two appendices. The book also presents some of the author's own viewpoints, such as his perspective on regulated ancient-style poems, the exploration of entering tones as level tones, the discovery of six-character poems, and the emphasis on five-character parallel couplets.
