Features: We have written this textbook, "Management Information Systems: An E-commerce Perspective," primarily for students of various business majors and it is designed to be used in conjunction with the "Management Information Systems CAI Courseware" for teaching. On this basis, we aim to develop our own teaching content and methods, which can serve as a reference for relevant personnel in other institutions. While writing this book, we referred to a large number of domestic books, magazines, and papers on similar topics, as well as classic business and management textbooks from renowned business schools in North America. We particularly reviewed a significant amount of IT company solutions, technical materials, and online information, gaining a deeper understanding and insight into "Management Information Systems." We have come to realize the profound impact that information technology and the Internet have had on people's learning, work, research, and daily lives. This book is divided into three parts: Basic Concepts, Application Systems, and System Development, each of which explores the challenges faced by Management Information Systems. Through the planning, development, management, and application of information technology, the coordination of the three important resources in an organization (information, information technology, and people) is achieved, forming the knowledge and structural framework of this book. The book comprehensively introduces the development and challenges of information systems, the management and operation of organizations, and the technical foundations of information systems, among other basic theories. It also systematically covers the application and development of information systems.
