Features: Oblomov was written over a hundred years ago, and its artistic principles can only be used for reference. However, this work has immortalized both the author Ivan Goncharov and his character Oblomov. The character of Oblomov is historical and specific, but the personality or temperament of Oblomov carries a general significance. It is reproduced to varying degrees in different people at different times. A contemporary of the author aptly said: "Goncharov holds an irreplaceable position in our literature, and no other, however brilliant, can completely overshadow his brilliance."
