Okay, here is the translation following your instructions: The Story of Zhou Enlai: Interviews with Those Who Know

Author: Compiled by the Second Research and Compilation Department of the Central
Publisher:
Publishing Date: 2000-06-01
Features: In the process of writing The Chronology of Zhou Enlai and The Life of Zhou Enlai, we interviewed many veteran comrades and participants, accumulating a large number of interview records. Later, to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Zhou Enlai's birth, the Central and China Central Television (CCTV) interviewed many veteran comrades and participants again during the joint production of the 12-episode documentary Zhou Enlai. To promote the study of Zhou Enlai's life and thought, and to publicize the ideas, achievements, and character of the older generation of proletarian revolutionaries, we selected 50 of the 170+ interview records, totaling approximately 3 million words, and compiled this book Talking About Zhou Enlai. The 51 articles included in this book, except for 3 that have been publicly published, are all published for the first time. They are all compiled based on the audio recordings of the conversations at the time, and we have only made textual edits and verified relevant historical facts. Most of them have obtained the consent of the interviewees and have been reviewed by them; there are a few that we were temporarily unable to contact, and they have not been reviewed by the interviewees. We kindly ask for your understanding. Considering the need to maintain the conversational style, we consciously retained some colloquial expressions in the text during the compilation.
