Features: As the turn of the century approached, former leaders, experts, and long-time residents of Beijing took up their pens to reflect on the guidance and care Prime Minister Zhou Enlai provided for various aspects of the city's work, as well as his concern and affection for people from all walks of life. We compiled these articles into a book titled Zhou Enlai and Beijing. As the first Premier of the People's Republic of China, Zhou Enlai devoted immense effort to every aspect of the capital. His footsteps left indelible marks on factories, rural areas, construction sites, and schools, leaving behind valuable experiences and abundant spiritual wealth for the construction and development of Beijing. The first part of this book reflects on these aspects. In the second part, it primarily records his interactions and friendships with people from various circles who lived in Beijing for a long time.
