Features: Ceramics are an important cultural heritage of the Chinese nation, the crystallization of earth and fire, and they can inspire, evoke imagination, bring joy, and impart knowledge. Since its establishment in the early 1930s of the 20th century, Guangxi Museum has always focused on collecting ceramics. The collection includes ceramic artifacts unearthed from archaeological excavations within the region, as well as products from famous kilns of various dynasties such as Ding, Ci, Yao, Jun, Jingdezhen, and Longquan. The inclusion of these exquisite ceramic treasures in our collection reflects the diligent efforts of several generations of our museum staff. At the same time, a number of patriotic individuals have donated their finest collections, significantly enhancing both the quantity and quality of our ceramic holdings. On the occasion of the museum's 70th anniversary, with the strong support of Wenwu Publishing House, the "Gems of Ancient Ceramics from Guangxi Museum" compiled by our institution has finally been published. It not only represents the research achievements of our ancient ceramics scholars but also allows more enthusiasts to share in our treasures.
