Features: With the further rise of the "Chinese Fever," there are more and more Chinese learners, and their proficiency is also increasing. Currently, advanced-level Chinese teaching materials, especially those for news listening, are still relatively scarce. This textbook was specifically developed to meet this need. It is part of the "Step-by-Step Chinese" series textbook and is designed for students in the 9th and 10th levels. It can also be used independently for advanced-level classes for students whose HSK level is 7 or above or who have equivalent proficiency. The textbook includes two levels—9th and 10th—and can also be considered as the upper and lower volumes of advanced-level listening textbooks. Each level (volume) contains 6–7 thematic units and 15 teaching units. Each unit is taught over 2 class periods. If your school's news listening (advanced listening) course is scheduled for 4 class periods per week, each level (volume) can be used for half a semester (two levels for one semester). If it is scheduled for 2 class periods per week, each level (volume) can be used for one semester.
