Features: In October 2005, the United Group, in collaboration with Ye Honghan, the shareholder of Jianlibao, successfully took control of Jianlibao. A year-long mystery surrounding Jianlibao has turned a new page. It is estimated that just a year ago, many of Zhang Hai's peers envied his frequent appearances in the media, but now, he has left everyone stunned. The Jianlibao restructuring controversy, which began in 2002, started with "capital player" Zhang Hain joining Jianlibao; reached its climax with Zhang Hai's arrest; and ended temporarily with the United Group's acquisition of Jianlibao. A three-year feast of news, over a thousand days of twists and turns, and a classic corporate case. In the Jianghu-style battle of Jianlibao, some rejoiced while many "open strategies" unfolded. At over sixty, the founder of Jianlibao, Li Jingwei, could only watch the rise and fall of tides from the hospital, with the future of Jianlibao no longer concerning him. Only half of Li Jingwei's age, the youthful yet highly skilled capital tycoon Zhang Hai, like a whale, created towering waves in Jianlibao before being sent to the Foshan detention center, his future uncertain. Li Zhida, with billions in assets, a seasoned businessman in his fifties, and the founder of the Xiaonurse enterprise and brand, invested nearly 300 million into Jianlibao, only to see his investment nearly impossible to recover. As the saying goes, the business world is a battlefield, and character determines fate—karma will be repaid.
