Features: Survival and development are eternal themes for a nation to move from history to the future. The survival and development of humanity depend on the land under our feet, and even more so on cultivated land. China has successfully supported 22% of the world's population with less than 10% of the world's cultivated land. However, China's land resources, especially cultivated land resources, now face severe realities. First, the amount of cultivated land is sharply declining. Second, land waste is severe, and land use efficiency is low. Third, the quality of cultivated land has declined, and land productivity is low. This book takes the land consolidation project in Yangxi County, Shandong Province, as an example to explore the connotation of land consolidation, the planning and design of land consolidation projects, and property rights adjustments. It also takes the land consolidation project in Cixi County, Zhejiang Province, as an example to discuss the theory, content, indicator system, and technical methods of post-evaluation of land consolidation projects.
