Features: This book is divided into three parts. The first part is an introduction, which primarily elaborates on the rationale for guiding mathematics education and teaching with a dynamic and fallibilistic view of mathematics. It then discusses public mathematics, unknown mathematics, and personal mathematics. Finally, it proposes the teaching philosophy of "enabling students to construct dynamically developing mathematics." The second part specifically elaborates on the main strategies for teaching meaning construction in elementary mathematics, which were summarized through trial and exploration: fostering students' meaningful thinking personalities; cultivating students' self-monitoring abilities as the goal, identifying the cognitive starting points of most students, discovering interesting and meaningful mathematical learning materials for students, reasonably designing the process of meaning construction teaching, flexibly implementing the basic methods of the planned scheme, and constructing the evaluation of meaning construction teaching in elementary mathematics. The third part, based on the author's own teaching experience, briefly discusses some issues that should be noted in the teaching of meaning construction in elementary mathematics: do not overemphasize the function of inquiry-based learning models; do not overemphasize students' individual construction; do not only focus on teachers following students' thinking; do not neglect cultivating teachers' ability to question textbooks; do not confuse multiple evaluations with the evaluation of mathematical open-ended problems.
