Features: This book includes two aspects: theoretical discussions and practical mathematical inquiry topics. Chapter 1 provides a simple definition of the meaning of inquiry-based problems in mathematics. Although there is no clear boundary between inquiry-based problems and typical textbook exercises, we can still see the significance and value of inquiry-based problems in the entire mathematical structure through their five key characteristics. In Chapters 2 and 3, we provide readers with 20 inquiry-based topics and conduct preliminary research and exploration on these problems based on the author's own interests and perspectives. We analyze the various possibilities for further development of these problems, offering references for practical teaching. Chapters 4 and 5 are the theoretical discussion sections of the book. These chapters explore the question: How to conduct mathematical inquiry. This is originally a difficult question to answer simply, but as mathematics educators, we must face this important issue. Chapter 6 further explores theoretical issues in mathematics education based on the previous five chapters. This book is suitable for secondary school teachers, students in normal universities, graduate students in the field of mathematics education, as well as other professionals engaged in mathematics education research.
