Features: The severe reality of the "three rural issues" has attracted widespread attention from all sectors of society. Existing research on these issues often focuses on the present and emphasizes how to solve practical problems, with insufficient reflection on the historical causes of the issues. However, reality is the inheritance of history—the "problems" of today are connected to the "causes" of yesterday, and the "hope" for tomorrow comes from our correct "understanding" of today. This book aims to facilitate a dialogue between history and reality in the study of the three rural issues for agrarian historians, economists, sociologists, political scientists, and practitioners of rural reforms. By confronting reality and reflecting on history, it seeks to make fundamental scientific judgments about the future development trends of the three rural issues. At the same time, it also aims to promote interdisciplinary exchange, integration, and cooperation in academic research.
