Features: The Development Report is a specialized research report series that combines legal practice and theoretical elaboration. Its readership is diverse, including legal practitioners, administrative officials, legal educators and researchers, undergraduate and graduate students of law, as well as individuals concerned with the development of China's legal system. The contributors strive to incorporate the latest legislative achievements and theoretical developments, typical cases and examples, and relevant statistical data. Through new materials and fresh analytical perspectives, they aim to derive new research conclusions and solutions, employing innovative expressions to ensure the reports are coherent, conceptually clear, data-accurate, vividly illustrative, concise, accessible, and objective. The reports present a relatively clear overview of the fundamental trends and key characteristics of China's constitutional and administrative law development each year, offer a brief outlook on its development in the coming year, and focus on introducing and analyzing the new developments in this field abroad. This makes it an important reference for both practitioners and theorists in the field.
The Development Report is an annual collection of specialized research reports, primarily covering six aspects: the development of China's constitutional law, the development of China's administrative law, research on selected topics in constitutional and administrative law, legislative and significant achievement information in constitutional and administrative law, analysis of typical cases/examples in constitutional and administrative law, and the development of constitutional and administrative law in several countries. It includes legislative information, legal implementation status, legal education status, academic activity information, significant achievement information (academic works, theses, important viewpoints), prominent figures, typical cases/examples, and indexes of legislation and research achievements.
The Development Report (2004-2005 Edition) expanded its scope of foreign constitutional and administrative law studies, treating it as a separate section rather than merely an appendix. It provided more angles and entry points in its thematic research and added relevant topics based on emerging hot issues.
