In these days: Confused boys, strong wind, cool songs

Author: KS Comic Studio

Publish Date: 2006-01-01
Features: Almost every book and song praises youth, celebrating it, yet few praise the adolescence. A slight difference in wording leads to two entirely different treatments of what is essentially the same thing—youth and adolescence. The former is filled with effusive praise, while the latter faces silence, avoidance, and is even taught that this book is meant to praise adolescence. Given that parents rarely discuss these topics with their children, this book highlights that the adolescence of middle and primary school students is not a simple physiological phenomenon but first and foremost a very beautiful process.
In the form of four-panel comic stories, the book vividly depicts the various confusions, anxieties, yearnings, and changes that boys and girls face during their physical transformations. It explicitly states that adolescence is the stage of rapid and mature development of sexual organs in adolescents, specifically the formation of secondary sexual characteristics in boys and girls. The physiological changes inevitably bring about corresponding psychological changes, leading to the formation of sexual awareness in adolescents' minds, their fondness for the opposite sex, and their desire for all of this to be natural and healthy.
With a scientific approach, the book explains many of the physiological and psychological mysteries of adolescence in adolescents, addresses the strange and even violent phenomena during this period, and praises the tender feelings that every boy and girl might experience.
