CCTV news reported — "This is a waterfall you can touch!"
Opening hours:8:00–17:00
Gudong Waterfall is a multi-tiered series of cascading waterfalls formed by underground springs. The waterfall is 180 meters higher than the Li River, yet still gushes forth. It is the only multi-tiered cascading waterfall in China formed by underground springs. The nine tiers of waterfalls have varied forms — some like mandarin ducks playing in water, some like dragons spouting water, and some cascading down moss-covered rock walls like fabric, with clearly visible water patterns, appearing white and translucent, like mist and drifting clouds. It is the only waterfall in China that can be climbed. Gudong Waterfall is one of the most popular Guilin attractions among tourists in recent years.
