Management Psychology (4th Edition)

Author: Lu Shengzhong, Editor-in-Chief

Publishing Date: 2006-07-01
Features: The revisions of this edition follow these two principles: , to the extent possible, add new materials, theories, and research findings; second, to the extent possible, integrate the theories of organizational psychology with the practical realities of various organizations, particularly corporate ones. This edition continues to adhere to the writing principles of previous editions, which primarily introduce theories and research findings of international organizational psychology while appropriately reflecting China's research achievements and management experiences. During the writing process, the relevant theories and findings from abroad are introduced first, followed by their critiques and analyses of the lessons and insights that Chinese enterprises should absorb from them. The purpose of separating introduction from critique is to provide readers with a more comprehensive understanding of these theories and research, facilitating their flexible application in practice. This book can serve as a textbook or teaching reference for undergraduate and graduate students in psychology, management schools, and related disciplines. Due to space limitations, this book cannot use numerous case studies to explain and illustrate related theories, concepts, and perspectives. Therefore, at the end of 2003, we compiled the book "Essentials of Practical Cases in Organizational Psychology" (published by Zhejiang Education Press) as a supplementary textbook. The purpose of compiling this case collection is to help readers understand and master the concepts and principles of organizational psychology through concrete and perceptible materials, while also assisting them in applying these concepts and principles to think, analyze, and solve human resource management and other related issues in various organizations, particularly in corporate settings.
