Features: "Military Chronicle" is a daily military documentary program launched by the CCTV Military Program Center in June 2006. To "experience the unique psychological journey of soldiers at close range and showcase the distinctive image of military life in all its aspects," they went deep into military bases, getting close to officers and soldiers. "All individuals with personal charm who have contributed to military construction are subjects of the program, and all military-related events are documented on-site." They demanded that every military figure presented to the audience should have a vivid and suspenseful story; every event site they led the audience into must unveil layers of mystery, explore the truth, and present the unique charm of the scene. All the stories in this book are told from a unique perspective, promoting major models and important events in contemporary China's military and national defense construction, with a discovery-oriented approach to observing, documenting, and exploring military life.
