Chapter 4 enters the theoretical model section. Although there is extensive research on processing trade, theoretical analysis remains weak, lacking explanatory mathematical models.

Chapter 7 studies the changes in China's comparative advantage since the reform and opening-up and the process of structural upgrading in processing trade, proposing ideas for structural adjustment in processing trade.
