Features: The Public Security Ministry Party Committee decided to designate 2006 as the "Year of Strengthening Grassroots and Basic Work" for public security organs across the nation. Grassroots and basic work should be prioritized for three years, requiring public security organs nationwide to take grassroots stations such as police stations, detention centers, vehicle management offices, criminal police teams, traffic police teams, and patrol police teams as carriers. They must adhere to the strategic deployment of strengthening grassroots efforts, laying a solid foundation, and honing essential skills. Without a doubt, this is a significant and pragmatic measure for the practical development of public security work.
