Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) early otolaryngology and stomatology have a long history, rich in theory and experience, making them one of the core clinical disciplines. They fully embody the fundamental theories and syndrome differentiation and treatment principles of TCM. To assist students in better learning TCM otolaryngology and stomatology, this book presents the key and challenging points of the New Century National Higher TCM Colleges' Planning Textbooks "TCM Otolaryngology" and "TCM Stomatology," as well as the National Higher Medical Colleges' Textbooks "TCM Otolaryngology" and "TCM Stomatology," in the form of practice questions. By integrating learning with practice, students can deepen their understanding and mastery of TCM otolaryngology and stomatology.
The authors of this book are all faculty members from the Otolaryngology and Stomatology departments of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, with extensive teaching experience and question-setting experience for various exams. Some of them have even served as question-setters for major exams. Based on the textbook content and teaching syllabus requirements (understanding, familiarity, mastery), combined with different difficulty levels (easy, moderate, difficult) and different levels of application (memorization, comprehension, simple application, comprehensive application), the book includes seven question types: multiple-choice questions, fill-in-the-blank questions, error-correction questions, term definitions, short-answer questions, essay questions, and case analysis, along with detailed reference answers. Each disease or syndrome is accompanied by a set of practice questions, making it highly suitable for self-study and self-assessment by students of various disciplines. Therefore, this book is ideal for practice exams for licensed physician certification, graduate school entrance exams, undergraduate exams, TCM specialty students seeking to advance to undergraduate studies, and TCM practitioners seeking promotion exams.
The writing of this book was guided and supported by Professor Wang Shizhen, the editor-in-chief of the New Century National Higher TCM Colleges' Planning Textbook "TCM Otolaryngology." Here, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to him.
