Collected Works Outside the Collection - Remnants

Author: Lu Xun
Publisher:
Publish Date: 2006-12-01
Features: The title of this book was proposed by the author. Some articles were collected and transcribed by the author, with some supplemented by "Supplementary Notes" or "Reference Materials." However, the compilation was not completed due to illness and was interrupted. The "Complete Works of Lu Xun" published in 1938 was edited and compiled by Xu Guangping. For this edition, the translations of "The Noble Life," "Rude and Courteous," and "The Preface to Zarathustra" were removed, as well as the "Postscript" (already included in the notes of "Suddenly Thought" in "Huagai Collection"). The "Reference Materials" for "After Chewing," "After Chewing Is Not Boring," and "The Rural Thought" were moved to the relevant articles in "Collected Works Outside the Collection." The "Preface" was moved to "Prefaces and Postfaces to Translations." The fourth poem of "Verses on Professors" was added during this revision. Some poems and articles were adjusted in order based on their original writing dates, and several poem titles were reverified according to the author's recorded inscriptions.
