Features: Language is the primary form of human communication. When we are face-to-face, conversation is the main way of interaction; when we need to convey information to more and farther people, we rely on various media such as radio, television, newspapers, advertisements, and books. We refer to the flat production and printing of newspapers, graphic advertisements, and books as graphic design, which falls under the scope of visual communication. The art of communication is worth studying—it is either clear and logical or disorganized; it is either sincere and moving or dull and tasteless, and it directly affects the effectiveness of communication. This book will focus on discussing how to mobilize elements such as titles, descriptions, graphics, and logos during the layout and production process of advertisements, book covers, and VI design, to create aesthetic appeal and thereby maximize the effective delivery of information. Excellent works of art are the treasure of all humanity. Mozart's compositions are widely played around the world; Picasso's paintings leave thousands of people in awe. Is there a universal sense of beauty? Are there patterns to follow? When we stroll through shopping malls, products with beautiful and well-designed packaging first catch our eyes. When we casually flip through magazines, layouts with fresh colors and clear, well-organized text often make us eager to read on. This is the charm of visual communication. Just like hearing, vision is a high-level sense for humans. Abstract forms of beauty have a great stimulating effect on the senses. Graphic design is to convey abstract thoughts, concepts, and information to people through a specific, processed, and aesthetically pleasing form of language, allowing people to unconsciously absorb the information while enjoying the beauty.
