Features: The Chinese-English Dictionary maintains the characteristics of the Comprehensive Chinese-English Dictionary while being co-planned and written by English experts from both sides of the Taiwan Strait. It adopts a portable 32-page format and is released worldwide in both simplified and traditional Chinese versions. The entries are determined based on the Chinese language, with comprehensive consideration of unique English expressions, thereby reflecting the inherent rationality of Chinese-English dictionaries. The Chinese-English Dictionary is extensive in scope and comprehensive in function. It includes 10,000 single-character entries and 180,000 multi-character entries, with an additional 100,000 compound words listed within the entries, totaling over 8 million words in the entire book. The dictionary is arranged in the order of Pinyin, with entries annotated with Pinyin. Characters with multiple pronunciations or meanings are listed in the appropriate positions and are cross-referenced with "See Also." At the beginning of the dictionary are four types of indexes: syllables, Pinyin, radicals, and stroke counts. The definitions of single-character entries are categorized by part of speech, with both Chinese and English explanations, making it extremely convenient for both Chinese and foreign readers to use.
