Features: This book is guided by the "Teaching Syllabus for College French" approved by the Ministry of Education of China and aligns with the requirements of the "Syllabus and Sample Questions for the College French Level 4 Examination." It is designed for all students taking the national French Level 4 unified examination, aiming to help them consolidate and improve their acquired grammar knowledge and pass the national French Level 4 examination smoothly. The authors, with over 20 years of experience teaching French in technological universities, have noticed the urgent need among many students for a systematic and comprehensive reference book on French grammar and exercises. At the same time, they have observed that relying solely on the limited class hours in classroom teaching, students lack sufficient practice to understand, master, and further reinforce the grammar they learn. Based on these two observations, and considering the characteristics of science and engineering university students—such as a heavy course load and tight schedules—we have compiled this book based on years of grammar teaching experience, insights, and accumulated linguistic materials. We have collected a selection of high-quality grammar exercises from recent years both domestically and internationally to create this book. The book is divided into two parts: Part 1 is on grammar theory, which concisely summarizes modern French grammar and is highly practical. The second part is on grammar exercises, accompanied by detailed solutions to the problems. It features a wide range of language points and extensive coverage, with explanations designed to be thorough. Additionally, it uses the methods of "generalizing from specific examples" and "connecting related concepts" to summarize certain grammar points, helping students grasp French grammar knowledge as a whole.
