Features: The field of seepage is extremely broad and covers numerous industries, including water conservancy and hydropower engineering, civil engineering, railways, highways, ports, disaster prevention and mitigation, farmland irrigation, petroleum, mining, construction, and environmental protection. Since the 1998 Yangtze River flood, the country has increased investment in water conservancy, and most of the issues in the national embankment construction and risk mitigation of disease-ridden reservoirs are related to seepage. Seepage control technology has made significant progress, especially in recent years with the vigorous development of hydropower construction in Southwest China, where seepage control technology is particularly crucial. Seepage control technology has solved many engineering problems and has achieved substantial results. This conference received over 100 papers, covering research on basic theories and fundamental laws of seepage; seepage deformation experiments; numerical simulation calculations of seepage, seepage control measures and experience summaries; detection of hidden dangers in embankments and dams, safety supervision, safety evaluation, and safety management technology; groundwater resources, pollution, and ecological environment; multi-field coupling, multiphase seepage, and seepage problems in stone mountains, petroleum, transportation, and construction. This proceedings is rich in content and has a strong academic atmosphere, showcasing a vibrant scene of diverse opinions and flourishing achievements.
