Features: As a knowledge carrier that embodies teaching content and methods, textbooks need to adapt to the demands of scientific and technological development and nursing education reform. To this end, the Office of Medical Education Textbooks of the Ministry of Health held a meeting for the chief editors of the four-year nursing program planning textbooks for secondary medical schools in Yantai in July 1998. The meeting determined that the goal was to cultivate practical talents, adhering to the educational direction of "facing the world, facing the future, and facing modernization," guided by the "concept" of nursing education, and based on the teaching plans and syllabi for the four-year nursing program. It emphasized the five requirements of "ideological nature, scientific nature, advanced nature, inspirational nature, and applicability," as well as the characteristics of "highlighting nursing, paying attention to the whole, strengthening humanities, and reflecting the community." This book is written for 90 academic hours, including an introduction and 11 chapters (5 chapters on inorganic chemistry and 6 chapters on organic chemistry) and 12 student experiments.
