Publishing Date: Not available
Features: This book collects ten gardens created by Junming around the world. Junming says, "Whenever searching for suitable stones and other materials for a garden, I often delve into nature for research. In the process of searching for plants, I sketch many drawings with a sense of emotion. When starting to arrange stones and plantings, I completely immerse myself in the dialogue of various related elements. I seek the spirit embodied by a stone or a tree to determine its appropriate position." Some gardens are not the "true gardens" people imagine, but rather gardens created in artificial spaces such as rooftops or within buildings. Through the photographs in this book, you can glimpse the dialogue between Junming and plants, stones, and gain an understanding of the world he attempts to create, as his works embody the essence of pure Japanese spirit.
