Features: This book introduces the main projects from the Europe-China Architecture and Urban Planning Competition organized by the French Dynamic City Foundation (IVM) in 2005. The competition brought together teachers and students from architectural schools in Shanghai, Wuhan, Guangzhou, Rotterdam, Berlin, and Paris. The theme of the competition was "Sustainable Cities and New Urban Mobility," aiming to introduce the issue of sustainability constraints into urban planning concepts for high-traffic areas. For example, the river crossing issues in places like Wuhan, infrastructure integration challenges in Guangzhou, or the concentrated diverse urban traffic problems in Shanghai.
