Features: The wise elder of Wisdom Village asks Pippy to find the "mushroom only visible to kind-hearted pandas" before the "Time Sandglass" runs out, to prove he is not a servant of the demon king, otherwise Lala and Blue Star would die. The Legend of the Magic Beans is a rare and excellent fairy tale in recent years, as well as a wonderful work that blends fairy tales with science fiction. It has three outstanding features: first, its ingenious plot is full of twists and turns, with a fascinating storyline. The story takes place on a beautiful planet in the universe—Kelen Star, where many adorable pandas live, but a terrible disaster is silently approaching: it turns out that the evil demon king "Odi" holds a powerful magic bean—the Bean of Desire, which makes pandas lose their sanity and unknowingly do many bad things. Moreover, the ambitious demon king wants to find all seven legendary magic beans to control the world. The panda god Pan Ou foresees Odi's conspiracy and also sees the terrifying scene of Kelen Star exploding. To maintain cosmic peace, he sends his daughter, the panda little angel Tim, to fly to Kelen Star to find the "savior." But who is the savior? And who can defeat the evil demon king Odi and save Kelen Star? The Legend of the Magic Beans revolves around the main plot of seven magic beans (excluding the "Bean of Desire," there are also the "Bean of Light," "Bean of Dreams," "Bean of Television," "Bean of Intelligence," "Bean of Food," and "Bean of Sports"), unfolding a series of stories that are both independent and interconnected. With rich imagination and whimsical ideas, it takes young readers into one fairy tale world after another filled with mystery—from "Television Island," "Wisdom Village," "Food Castle," and "Sports City," to "Ice Valley," "Dream World," and "Dark Territory." Through the thrilling adventures of the pandas in these mysterious realms, it praises the great power of friendship, unity, and love, and shows the theme of justice defeating evil. It also proves that the savior is not others, but the kind and brave pandas themselves, who unite and cooperate to save their planet. It is worth mentioning that the main characters in the story are the familiar and adorable pandas, which itself is a charming highlight. The Legend of the Magic Beans creates vivid main characters, such as the panda Tobi, Kru, Laff, and the television host Oscar, who are all very individualized. They are not conceptualized roles but are like the children in our lives, with both strengths and minor flaws. They have a sense of justice, kindness, bravery, and compassion, but they also make mistakes. They grow through life's trials and increase their wisdom and skills in overcoming evil. These descriptions are close to life, making them feel very relatable and providing them with excellent education. As a fairy tale story created for modern children, the second feature of The Legend of the Magic Beans is that it inherits traditional fairy tale techniques while appropriately incorporating elements of science fiction, showing creativity in the combination of fairy tales and science fiction. For example, the universal mechanical vehicle driven by Kru, the elevator powered by water from underground, Oscar's television broadcast, and so on, all expand the expressive power of the work to some extent, enhance its sense of the times, and make it more acceptable and liked by young readers. Although the struggle between justice and evil is a timeless theme in fairy tales, The Legend of the Magic Beans does not follow the current trend of excessively exaggerating violence in cartoons when depicting this theme. The entire story's plot avoids excessive violence and instead focuses more on wisdom and joint efforts to overcome one challenge after another, winning victories over evil. This is its third outstanding feature. In summary, The Legend of the Magic Beans is a wonderful and engaging work. I believe young readers will love it. Pippy and his companions are swallowed by the monster Akta, and while Pippy wants to quickly lead everyone to escape, he unexpectedly finds one of the seven magic beans—the Bean of Sports. Pippy and his companions drift to Wisdom Village, enduring countless hardships to find the "mushroom only visible to kind-hearted pandas" before the "Time Sandglass" runs out, saving Lala and Blue Star. The demon king's destructive army arrives in Wisdom Village, carrying out large-scale destruction of the village's forests. Pippy activates the Bean of Light, only to discover that the dark general leading the attack is actually the missing father of Maidu. Unexpectedly, this attack campaign becomes the key to guiding Pippy and his companions to find the Bean of Wisdom, whose warrior is the elder of Wisdom Village—Yami. Bean of Wisdom: Gathered by the power of "wisdom," its ability is to discern the truth of people's hearts and all things. Yami: The warrior of the Bean of Wisdom, Yami, the elder of Wisdom Village, lives in a transparent protective shield, whose energy comes from Wisdom Forest. She is the oldest elder in Wisdom Village and also the youngest-looking sage, extremely intelligent but sometimes very childlike.
