Features: Since the new era, the study of modern and contemporary Chinese literature has been in a state of exploration, innovation, and breakthrough. In the various explorations of modern and contemporary Chinese literature studies, some hope for a transformation of value judgment standards, others expect new insights to be sparked by changes in literary period divisions, some attempt to achieve remarkable breakthroughs by uncovering long-forgotten writers and works, while others try to gain new breakthroughs by introducing new research methods. All of these have brought new opportunities to the study of modern and contemporary Chinese literature. In the research of this project, we pay more attention to the perspective of literary history research. We believe that the true breakthrough in the study of modern and contemporary Chinese literature largely depends on whether we have given enough attention to the uniqueness of the research subject and whether we have found the most suitable research perspective for it.
