Features: Organized by schools and theories, introducing cutting-edge fields and courses in Chinese studies, including theoretical introductions and demonstrations of methods. It highlights two aspects: one is the core connotations of theories and methods, and the other is the practical achievements and broad prospects in the application of Chinese studies. There is a peculiar phenomenon in the history of modern Chinese linguistics—many Chinese language researchers, including many academic masters and later influential scholars, have served as translators of foreign linguistic works. I wonder if there is another country in the world with such a phenomenon. Allow me to dedicate some space to showcase some incomplete fragments of this landscape. With the improvement of foreign language proficiency among the new generation of scholars, more researchers not only hope to gain insights into the broader picture through translated works but also have the ability to understand the full scope of related fields or topics through original texts. This will greatly expand the breadth and depth of academic openness and exchange in linguistics. Currently, many publishing houses are launching original series of foreign linguistic works to meet this demand in a timely manner.
