Features: Implementing scientific and technological progress and innovation requires a new set of economic management policies, work measures, and effective institutional and mechanism innovations. The transition from a highly centralized planned economy system to a socialist market economy system once brought about significant changes in macroeconomic management systems and microeconomic operational methods. Now, under the guidance of the scientific outlook on development, the shift from an extensive economic growth model to an intensive one demands further improvements in macroeconomic management systems and microeconomic operational mechanisms. The "Economics and Management Research Series" edited by Comrade Sun Boliang was born in this era. This series consists of four groups of research books on economics and management.
The first group is the "Theoretical Studies on Finance and Public Finance," including five books: "Contemporary Monetary Policy: Theory and Practice," "Financial Innovation and Economic Development," "Frontiers of Microfinance Management," "Public Finance and Farmers' Income Increase," and "Combating Poverty in Developed Areas—Fiscal Policy Choices for Farmers in Relatively Developed Regions."
The second group is the "Industrial and Enterprise Management Research Series," including four books: "Virtual Business Strategy," "Evaluation and Practical Research on Regional Industrial Competitiveness," "Marketing for Wealth: Strategies for Agricultural Product Marketing," and "Management Breakthrough for Private Enterprise Owners."
The third group is the "Financial Accounting Research Series," including four books: "Financial Strategy of Private Enterprises," "Research on Lease Accounting," "Research on Earnings Management of Listed Companies," and "Internal Control of Small and Medium Enterprises."
The fourth group is the "Entrepreneurship Research Series," including three books: "Research on Successful Entrepreneurship," "University Student Entrepreneurship," and "The Weave of Entrepreneurship."
Most of the authors of this series are young and middle-aged scholars. They have solid theoretical foundations, keen minds, and a spirit of innovation. They have conducted in-depth and meticulous research on the topics involved, aiming to introduce readers to the latest knowledge in economic management theory and practice, thereby broadening their horizons.
The common features of this Economics and Management Research Series are: adhering to the basic principles of Marxist economics, reflecting China's practical experience in economic construction, especially since the reform and opening-up; absorbing useful aspects of Western modern market economy theory and practice; emphasizing the introduction of new knowledge and concepts; striving for up-to-date information, systematic, comprehensive, and clear explanations; distinct viewpoints; accurate and practical content; and moderate depth.
