Features: The involvement of China's publishing industry in the issue of globalization began in the latter half of the 1990s. To date, numerous series of books have been published, primarily collections of papers by domestic scholars and translations of relevant foreign works. To shift the focus from preliminary research findings and translations to in-depth theoretical exploration, and to more comprehensively reflect the new achievements of Chinese academia in globalization studies, address people's doubts and concerns about globalization, and respond to the challenges it poses, we have decided to compile this large-scale academic monograph series on some hot and focal issues of globalization. The series includes eight thematic topics: Globalization and Modernity, Globalization and Value Conflicts, Globalization and the Nation-State, Globalization and Cultural Integration, Globalization and Economic Security, Globalization and Global Governance, Globalization and "The Third Way," and Globalization and Anti-Globalization. We believe these eight topics nearly cover the main issues in current globalization theoretical research. The openness of the globalization process and theory determines that the issues addressed in this series are currently considered highly important. We believe that globalization has already brought and will continue to bring more new problems, and our research horizons will also broaden. This series focuses on in-depth discussions of the theory of globalization itself, as well as on the study of major practical issues emerging in the context of globalization. We do not believe that there is a fixed globalization theory, nor do we think that there are certain thresholds or fixed models for researching globalization issues. Therefore, overall, this series respects each author's unique perspectives and methods rather than imposing uniformity.
