Features: Tianjin Ancient Books Publishing House plans to publish a series titled "Master's Lectures." The title is quite clear. They came to seek my opinion, and I strongly supported it. These masters were all renowned scholars who taught at famous universities in China during the 20th century. Their academic status is well-established. For instance, Mr. Zhou Youyi and Mr. Zhu Ziqing were masters of their generation. Similarly, Mr. You Guoen, Mr. Lei Haizong, and Mr. Zhou Zumo were also authorities in their respective academic fields. Although they have passed away many years ago, their legacy continues to inspire future generations, and their influence on scholars has long been profound. While they left behind many classic works, a significant number of their lecture notes, which were once widely used, have been largely overlooked and are at risk of being lost. In my view, these lecture notes must contain invaluable treasures. Nowadays, we often hear calls to "rescue cultural heritage." Isn't the publication of this series by Tianjin Ancient Books Publishing House a concrete example of such a meritorious act? I believe these lecture notes are extremely precious works that deserve to be preserved for posterity. Bringing them together for compilation and publication will greatly benefit the academic community, and it is indeed a commendable endeavor.
