Features: The author of this book adopts a () style, narrating the history of Chinese porcelain production, its craftsmanship, and cultural value from the perspective of antique collection, accompanied by a certain number of picture materials. Chinese ceramics are a deeply rooted cultural form. Through their shapes, decorations, and glazes, what strikes me first is their aesthetic value, as well as the history they carry and the national sentiments and folk customs they highlight. The values and aesthetic concepts they embody have a strong Eastern cultural color. Reading ceramics feels like reading books—it allows us to connect with the wisdom of our ancestors and the ancient social civilization. Often in this silent exchange, our hearts are unknowingly touched, fostering reverence for the contributions of our ancestors. Therefore, when I read ceramics, I don’t need to collect them at home; simply feeling connected to them is enough. Of course, I haven’t encountered a situation like a cat eating a bowl, which carries a deceptive nature and lacks integrity.
