Features: The "Beijing University Series on the Tang Dynasty" is a batch of achievements from the "Tang Dynasty Research Project." It conducts a comprehensive exploration from aspects such as the integration of political systems, coordination of international relations, efficiency of state operations, and the rich diversity of social customs. It also provides strong explanations for why the Tang Dynasty flourished and offers comprehensive research and summaries in some areas where domestic studies are relatively weak, such as women and society, religious beliefs and society, and regions and space. This "series" is a major project under Peking University's "985 Project," titled "The Tang Dynasty Project." Each sub-project was determined after repeated deliberations. Following the academic trend of interdisciplinary studies, careful research was conducted in both topic selection and personnel composition, finally determining a batch of five volumes, totaling six monographs. The research findings in this series represent the current direction and high level of Tang Dynasty history studies, with many papers being forward-looking. It is believed that the publication of this "series" will have a significant impact and become a new contribution to Tang Dynasty history studies in the early 21st century.
