Features: Wei Shuzi Collection is the poetry and prose collection of Wei Xi, including 20 volumes of prose, 3 volumes of Catalogue, 8 volumes of poetry, and nearly 33 volumes in total. According to the General Principles of Wei Shuzi Collection written by Wei Shijie, Wei Xi's other works include 1 volume of Remnants of the Book of Shang, 10 volumes of The Book of Zuo's Governance, 1 volume of Imitation of Qin's Memorial, and the Inner Scriptures, most of which are no longer extant. However, the main part of Wei Xi's life's works has been included in Tongjian (Two Editions). Wei Shuzi Collection was passed down through the Ningdu San Wei Collection. The Ningdu San Wei Collection includes 10 volumes of Wei Bozi Collection, 13 volumes of Wei Shuzi Collection, and 16 volumes of Wei Jizi Collection, totaling 59 volumes, with additional works of the younger generation of the San Wei family appended, published in two separate editions. It was first published during the Kangxi era, known as the Yitan Collection. Wei Xi was highly talented and erudite, with a bold and unrestrained style of writing, often employing unconventional and challenging sentence structures, making his prose both profound and difficult to comprehend.
