Features: Digital electronics is a fundamental technical course that primarily studies the functions and applications of various logic gate circuits and integrated devices. This book is suitable for electronic technology courses in vocational and technical colleges across various disciplines, as well as serving as a self-study guide for those eager to master the basics of electronic technology. Through various semiconductor devices and circuits, this book elaborates on the fundamental concepts, principles, and methods of digital electronics, and introduces methods for analyzing and designing digital circuits through numerous examples. During the writing process of this textbook, special attention was paid to the following points:
This book introduces relevant semiconductor fundamentals, providing a comprehensive yet concise overview of the basics of diodes and transistors in line with the requirements of digital circuits. It advocates for students to understand the functions and methods of integrated chips through function tables and pin diagrams, emphasizing the application of integrated chips while omitting the analysis of internal circuitry. As needed, content on digital circuit simulation using Protel has been added, offering introductory guidance on digital circuit simulation, laying a solid foundation for future circuit analysis and design using software. Most of the examples in the book include schematic circuits and simulation waveform diagrams, cultivating students' ability to verify learned knowledge through circuit simulations. Multiple types of examples and exercises are provided in each chapter to reinforce fundamental concepts and knowledge, deepen understanding, and enhance mastery.
This book is one of the planned textbooks for the Computer and Information Technology series in vocational and technical colleges, edited by Professor Li Dayou. It is written by frontline teachers with extensive teaching experience, featuring concise content and a strong emphasis on practicality. Through various semiconductor devices and circuits, it elaborates on the fundamental concepts, principles, and methods of digital electronics, and introduces methods for analyzing and designing digital circuits through numerous examples. The book also highlights the role of simulation software in circuit analysis by adding content on digital circuit simulation using Protel.
The main content includes digital logic fundamentals, logic gate circuits, combinational logic circuits and their analysis and design, sequential logic circuits, commonly used combinational and sequential logic functional devices, flip-flops, generation and transformation of pulse waveforms, etc. Multiple types of examples and exercises are provided in each chapter, and reference answers to some exercises are given in the appendix.
