Features: Practical experience shows that the class collective is the basic environment for students to learn how to learn, how to do things, how to live together, how to survive and develop, improve their comprehensive qualities, and develop their individuality and creativity. The learning interactions, mutual relationships, and collective awareness within the class collective are important educational factors that influence and act on every member of the collective. This is because, "the collective directly reproduces the essential characteristics and features of the overall social system in a form that can be directly perceived by individual consciousness." In other words, all kinds of social relationships—political, economic, cultural, ideological, ethical, and so on—act on the consciousness and behavior of every student through the medium of the class collective. As the founders of Marxism pointed out, "only in the collective can individuals obtain the means to develop their talents." Without a doubt, for schools to implement comprehensive quality education, they must focus on optimizing class education and building class student collectives, creating an educational collective that is conducive to students' lively and dynamic learning and living, and actively acquiring development. This is also the fundamental measure to ensure that all educational activities of the school, including classroom teaching and extracurricular activities, can be carried out smoothly and guarantee the effectiveness of moral education.
