Features: In modern society, commercial activities are frequent. In addition to traditional industrial and commercial activities, economic and financial activities have developed rapidly, with new products and operational methods emerging constantly. At the same time, legal terms related to industrial and commercial activities and vocabulary brought by information technology are becoming increasingly rich. Furthermore, due to differences in historical background and social conditions, many different terms and expressions exist, making it impossible to infer meanings from context or make assumptions. All these factors require a more specialized business English-Chinese dictionary to assist us in solving problems encountered when reading English business, financial, and economic materials. Oxford University Press, a world-renowned publisher of various English-Chinese dictionaries and serious works, now publishes the Oxford English-Chinese Dictionary of Business English (hereinafter referred to as the Business English Dictionary). It not only helps general readers solve problems encountered when reading English information but also greatly benefits us, such as writers who frequently deal with Chinese and English business, financial, and economic information. This dictionary combines the functions of a business dictionary and an English dictionary. On one hand, it helps users resolve difficulties related to specialized terms, and on the other hand, it provides practical English vocabulary and grammar references.
