Features: The test questions collected in this book are the same as those in the "IELTS Speaking Breakthrough" of this series. Each question provides a reference answer, but remember that for the questions in this book and the speaking section of the actual IELTS exam, the answers can vary greatly. Contrary to popular belief, there is no such thing as a "correct" answer for any question. Like IELTS Writing, the examiner hopes you can provide reasons to support your ideas and clarify your viewpoints. The main reason for clarifying your opinions is to demonstrate your vocabulary and grammar knowledge to the examiner, as well as to give you the opportunity to use connecting words to prove that your speech is well-organized. The reference answers provide some useful vocabulary that you can and should use when answering questions. Never memorize these answers word for word, as examiners will pay close attention to whether you are reciting them. If you are, your score will be significantly reduced. It is certain that you will disagree with many of the opinions in the reference answers. Great! We are happy to see that you have different opinions, as this will force you to clarify your own views and think more deeply about the questions you encounter. The best way to use this book is to identify the questions in IELTS Speaking that you are less confident about and focus on learning related content in this book, allowing the reference answers to serve as a guide. Most questions are in Sections 1, 2, and 3, so pay attention to the different ways questions are asked. Pay special attention to Section 3, as the questions there are not only relatively easier but also more relevant to your real-life situation. The questions in Section 3 often involve personal thoughts and opinions.
