Features: "I printed my 'Bai Cao Yuan' miscellany as a standalone volume, selected several related essays from other miscellanies to compile the second part, titled 'Inside and Outside the Garden,' and added the sections 'Lu Xun in Tokyo' and 'Old Tales of Bush Tree Book House' as appendices. Some parts may seem brief or incomplete, but it's not worth correcting now, as to revise them would require rewriting most of the content, which would be too troublesome. I think the omissions are still acceptable, as they are better than excessive elaboration that might lead to falsehoods. As for some characters I intentionally omitted, there is naturally no need to add them here." This book is a collection of essays by the renowned Chinese essayist, Mr. Zhou Zuoren. It includes works such as "Bai Cao Yuan," "The Great Event in the Kitchen," "Caricatures and Painting Albums," and "Shen Family Goats," among others.
