Features: The Records of the Grand Historian is a renowned ancient history book, ranked first in the category of Miscellaneous Histories under the Historical Division when compiled into the Siku Quanshu by Qing Dynasty scholars. It includes The Words of Zhou, three volumes; The Words of Lu, two volumes; The Words of Qi, one volume; The Words of Jin, nine volumes; The Words of Zheng, one volume; The Words of Chu, two volumes, totaling twenty-one volumes. The Records of the Grand Historian currently in existence are all annotated by Wei Zhao of the Wu Kingdom during the Three Kingdoms period. By the Northern Song Dynasty, it was down in two different systems of manuscripts. One is believed to be a version engraved during the second year of the Mingdao era of Emperor Renzong of Song, and the other is an annotated version by Song Xiang, a scholar of the Northern Song Dynasty.
